My stepfather owned a ‘32 Ford roadster that maybe had little more than a grill that was actual ‘32 vintage. Rocket 225 straight-six from a Pontiac Tempest, straight pipes, side-draft Weber carburetors, Corvette independent rear axle. 104 mph in the quarter-mile, as I recall.
